Established in Abu Dhabi 20 years ago, Al Basma British School delivers England’s National Curriculum to over 1,400 students of 54+ nationalities in the UAE’s capital city.

Al Basma is rated as a high-performing Band A school, with its British Schools Overseas (BSO) accreditation making it part of a select coterie of educational institutes worldwide.

The school has also received the British Schools of Middle East (BSME), Cambridge International Examinations (CIE), Edexcel (Pearson) and AQA (Oxford) accreditations.

Al Basma is unique in its focus on the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) education needed to train the scientists and engineers of tomorrow, and has formulated its own robotics and aero-modelling programmes.



Situated in Abu Dhabi’s Al Ain region, Al Manahil combines a wide range of subjects and perspectives into a well-rounded education prospectus, delivered to world-class standards.

The school prides itself on catalysing a three-way partnership model for holistic education, with teachers, parents and children involved in an inclusive process of nurturing. Bright Kids Nursery is a 21st-century learning nursery in Abu Dhabi providing safe and quality childcare services for age groups 0-4 years. Its core curriculum follows the Early Years Foundation Stage approach in Montessori settings. The nursery has five branches in Abu Dhabi: Al Muroor, Bain Al Jesrain, Al Najda, Al Manaseer and Khalifa City A. Bright Kids Nursery offers a child-centred environment and modern teaching methods that create a wonderful start to a child’s education.



Superior Institutions of Science & Technology (SIST) is the first British University in Morocco, and delivers programmes designed by the Cardiff Metropolitan University. SIST is also the only university in the country to deliver a British degree along with a Moroccan certification accredited by the Ministry of Higher Education.

SIST opened Casablanca campus in 2011 before expanding to Rabat in 2011 and Tangier in 2012. A new Marrakesh campus will accommodate 2,000 students while another campus in Casablanca will enrol 1,000 for the first academic year.



Velocity School Bus Transportation ensures that learners benefit from safe, convenient and easy transport to and from schools via a large fleet of modern school buses. Velocity takes safety very seriously and has invested in rigorous training for all its drivers. The firm also became Abu Dhabi’s first private transport company to customise its buses to meet all recommendations set forth by the Abu Dhabi Education Council and Department of Transport in Abu Dhabi.
